RV Trip in Utah 2013

We were thinking about to have the RV camping experience and driving around National Parks. So we planed to rent the smallest RV, 19 feet, from Cruise America.

View from the window, Southwest Airlines ... please get the clearer windows please ...

Here we were, Las Vegas! Where the RV pick-up center was.

19 Feet from Cruise America, really convenient, small enough for you to park in the parking lot anywhere.

When you connected 3 pieces mattresses together, it's bigger than queen size bed, pretty comfortable.

Underneath the bed, you had the driver and passenger seat, big and comfy.

In the middle of the RV, universal table with sofa. You can turn to be the 3rd person bed.

Left : Microwave, Refrigerator, heater
Top : Fan, Air Conditioner
PS. The Refrigerator can run on the car's AC, propane and electric, real convenient.

Kitchen sink, 2 Stove burners, a lot of storage and indicator for water, electric and sewage.

Quite decent bathroom!

From the driver position, pretty shady from the front and sides. Thanks to the bed over the cap.

View along the way.

1st campground in Cedar City. Stayed at KOA, pretty nice place ... oh, they had wi-fi too. By the way, crossing from Nevada to Utah, the time zone changed, be careful with your GPS.

View along the way.

There were some motorcyclists on the road too, and they were quite fast :)

Stopped and pee with this view!

Stopped to have lunch.

Took the chairs out, having an easy sandwich with this kind of view!

Drove through the mountain.

Another mountain view.

After checked-in to the campground in Moab, Utah, then time for the Arches National Park.

Awesome!

Hiking, hiking ... up up getting tired from carrying Nikon D600 and 24-120mm f/4

Here was the Bridge, famous landscape here.

Campground in Moab, surrounded by beautiful mountains, many giants RVs here. The campground had small cabins for none-RVs too ... and seems everyplace have wi-fi, but don't expect too much, 'cause you have to share with other people ... LOL

We signed up for rafting trip with Moab adventure center. Beautiful scenery along the Colorado River.

Heading to Canyonland National park.

Olympic size swimming pool in the middle of nowhere? nope ... actually they are mining fertilizer.

Dead Horse Point. Legend said the cowboys gathered horses around here, picked the good one and left the unwanted one to died in this area.

Dinner time! grilling burgers in the campground, beautiful mountains around. So good experience and good feeling.

Drove to the mountains again.

Stopped and see the thousands years drawing. Must be people from Mars!

Stopped to have lunch at the picnic area on the wood.

Scary scenes, drive careful guys!

Stopped and pee ... this kind of view!

After checked-in to the campground, we rushed to Bryce Canyon National Park ... Ohhhh what a stunning view!!!

Stopped to get gas in a little town between Bryce Canyon and the Campground.

Campground at night with the moonlight.

The sun's up, so time to move on again.

Really envy the location of this big house.

The double rainbows (one was faded) came out to greed us.

?!?!

Mountains after Mountains.

Here it was, Lake Mead, just 45 minutes outside of Las Vegas. We planed to get rent a little speedboat to zoom around the lake, but there were a windstorm around, so they didn't let us out ... *sob*sob*

Couldn't go out, then stopped to have a real lunch at the decent bar at the marina.

This dog didn't dare to jump, just kept barking at the big fish.

Went to Hoover Dam as the plan B. It was so hot, around 100+ Fahrenheit with a lot of hot wind, really felt uncomfortable HOT.

Here was the campground with Lake Mead view ... Awesome!!!

Big moon, really nice at night.

Well, the sun came out, time to return the RV at the Las Vegas center.

Finally time for the real nice soft big bed! Stayed at Holiday Inn Resort Club ... got really good deal.

Walking around in Vegas

Having nice coffee in a fancy coffee shop.

Having an international Buffet with close friend and her family.

Walking around Las Vegas at night, really pretty and interesting.

Finished the trip with this picture, there were a lot of talented street performers.
